a community-focused brand, operating
Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 6 PM.
Core Mission and
Atmosphere:
Support for Black
Creativity: The shop's mission is to provide a dedicated space for
local and national Black artisans, including jewelers, fashion
designers, and skincare makers.
"Do for Self"
Philosophy: The store promotes a "movement of do for self,"
specifically aiming to offer unique, handmade alternatives to major
retail chain stores and mass-produced fashion.
Community Hub:
Beyond retail, it hosts cultural events such as poetry readings,
open mic sessions, and artisan marketplaces, particularly during
Black History Month.
